Here I continue comparing bloggers I read frequently to Star Wars characters. Enjoy...

Some people think I created the EotW Fund as a way to expose the nonsense in the predictions that say the Rapture will occur on May 21 and how gullible people can be. That’s part of it to be sure, but honestly, I’m really just doing this to have fun and see what happens. I don’t need to expose anything. The end of the world nutters are doing a fine job showing the world how crazy they all are. They don’t need my help.

Someone named Typaffm wrote the following comments in response to my entry about Harold Camping's prediction that the end of the world will happen on May 21, 2011:
May 21,2011 Judgment Day - It is going to happen. It will be just like Japan - but Worldwide! God is about to TAKE OUT THE TRASH of this world. He cannot tolerate anymore PERVERSIONS. You have only about six more weeks to live - unless you REPENT of your sins and PRAY to God like never before! God offers eternal life only to those He wants to SAVE. But you can ask Him now to SAVE YOU... The Salvation Program ends on May 20,2011. You cannot be saved when His judgment begins on May 21st. TOO LATE FOR YOUR SALVATION! There is NO 2012! Total Annihilation and The Rapture of the TRUE BELIEVERS of Jesus! What's your choice?
Is Typaffm a Poe? I have no idea. Either way, there are currently thousands of people who genuinely believe May 21 is the end of the world. If you're one of them, how about you put your money where your mouth is (or your pocketbook where your prophecy is)? If you really think May 21 is the end of the world, then give me your money.
Why give your money to me? Because it's all going to turn to dust anyway, right? You won't need any of it after May 20, so give it away as a sign of faith. Even better, give it to someone who doesn't believe Jesus is coming back May 21. Just think: when the good Lord returns to collect those he has called to him, how stupid will I feel with all your money in my bank account? Remember, no one can serve two masters. You cannot serve both god and money. Giving your money away, since you know the Lord is coming back, shows where your loyalties lie and who your true master is. It will also reveal my lack of belief, since I am so eager to relieve you of your cash. You can almost hear the sound of my gnashing teeth, can't you? What do you have to lose? Your treasures should be stored up in heaven!
Hurry, you only have six more weeks before it's too late to give me your money!

[ I have to warn you: this blog entry is rather long. This entry is about me, my story, my journey, and thus is a very personal entry. The process of writing it took me from one end of the emotional spectrum to the other. And this is just part one. ]
